TRzShellList FileFilter not as documented

Postby MikevTaos » Tue Jan 10, 2012 9:34 am

When I specify a FileFilter value of "*.MDB", I also see ZIP files in the same folder if those ZIP files contain a MDB file. I'm guessing that this is related to Windows treatment of ZIP files as folders, but even if that's what is controlling it, this means that we're being shown results from sub-folders and that's not expected behavior when the Folder is set to "Use pathname" and no "include sub-folders" option exists.

This behavior is not exhibited for RAR files.

In any case, it would be nice to be able to have strict enforcement of the FileFilter value without considering the content of ZIP files in the specified folder.

Is this a bug, oversight, or request for a new feature?

I see that the default for the option sloFilesCanBeFolders is True. Switching it to false stops the behavior that was troubling me. So far, this seems to be sufficient.
