I'd like to know that too, I installed 10.2 Tokyo today and since getting the Konopka VCL Controls as a bonus with my last maintenance subscription purchase I've made good use of them and I can't use 10.2 until I can get them installed.

Thanks!

Hi,

Embarcadero will be announcing details on KSVC and Radiant Shapes for Tokyo in the next few days.

Now appears to be available from the GetIt Package Manager for 10.2, actually it just downloaded the old 6.2.2 installer and the installer still does not show 10.2 as an option.

The GetIt installer for Raize in 10.2 is for 10.2 only, I ran it and Raize is now available in Tokyo so it seems to work.

UPDATE:

Ray,
I finally tracked the problem down to an issue where Tokyo had default include and library paths to
both 10.2 Tokyo and 10.1 Berlin which probably resulted in linking from the wrong version. This must have been done by some installer because I have not touched it.

How does it work with having 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 installed at the same time? I see they install to the same directory.

The 6.2.3 installer adds the Lib\RX10.2 directory to the 6.2.2 (or any earlier 6.x installation). The new installer does not know anything about Berlin and only adds paths for Tokyo. The old paths could have gotten into RAD Studio 10.2 is if you manually tried to load the Berlin design packages into Tokyo.

Technically, you could use the !Build_RC6.cmd file in the Source directory to rebuild the components and packages for other versions of Delphi.

I stand corrected, doing it on my laptop that is how it works.

It may have been included when I used the migration tool for Tokyo now that I think of it.

So I can update to 6.2.3. for the earlier RAD version using that? Is there any changes to 6.2.3 other than Tokyo support?

Ah yes, the migration tool would do that.

There are no substantial changes between 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 but there were quite a few minor modifications to the source code to handle a variety of new compiler hints and warnings that were introduced in Tokyo.

Use the GetIt Package Manager in the IDE.
