Hi Ray,

middle of last year I asked for a new feature for CodeSite (enhanced scratch pad / charting) and you said that this would be something for CodeSite 5:

We're definitely going to be enhancing the Scratch Pad area in CS5. One of the goals of CS5 is for additional analysis tools, and being able to chart historical changes to transient data in the scratch pad falls under this.

So do you have any news on version 5?

Hi Ulrich,

Unfortunately, we're not yet in a position to publicly discuss any of the features that may or may not be included in CS5. However, at a minimum we are adding features that will allow CodeSite Express to work effectively with the next version of RAD Studio as CodeSite Express will continue to be integrated into the product. We'll post more details as we move further along.

I maybe missed it but has new CS 5.1 any additional features in that direction? I cannot found any news on that on help file. Do you still have plans for extending CS for charting?

Unfortunately, we just ran out of time and certain features had to get pushed back. This was one of those features. It is still on our plans to be included in a future update to CS5.
